I'm Ben, I am the founder of Tour Strength. 

Probably just like you, I'm a complete golf junkie! 

I graduated with a degree in Sports Coaching Science in 2015 and to this point in my career, I have coached more than 4500 hours of 1-2-1 sessions. 

I am qualified with both the UKSCA and TPI, the two leading strength and conditioning qualifications in my field. 

I currently work with players of all abilities, ranging from the high handicap beginners, through to a few touring professionals which make their living playing this great game. 

In recent years, I have had articles featured in Men's Fitness, GQ and Gentleman's Journal.

A little more about your coach...

As I mentioned above, my name is Ben.  

I've been a Personal Trainer in London since 2015 and a golf nut since long before that! 
 Golf was the first sport I played with my grandad as a young kid. I fell in love with it immediately!  

Then, with the emergence of Tiger, needless to say, the obsession grew pretty rapidly. I was distinctly average at playing the game (still am), but loved everything about it! 

Unfortunately, like a lot of people, when I went off to university, I stopped playing altogether. But thankfully caught the playing bug again in 2016 and the fascination for this great sport has continued to grow ever since. 

I first started working with/coaching golfers in 2018 and since then have worked with a wide range of individuals, from complete beginners to now working with quite a few touring professionals. 

When it comes to strength and conditioning within the sport, I am an absolute nerd, due to having seen first hand the significant impact that S+C can have on performance. 

Over the past few years, I've seen my tally of sessions jump above the 4500 hour mark, have been asked to write articles for established publications such as Men's Fitness, GQ and Gentleman's Journal and I hold qualifications with the industry leaders UKSCA and TPI.

T's and C's

Within session 1 and session 10 (or 20 or 30, package dependant) with Ben, we will run through a TPI movement screen and a fitness test. To be eligible for a refund on the grounds of not being “Fitter, Stronger or More Mobile”, each of these will be defined/measured as:


Fitter = have you improved on your 1000 metre ski erg time.
Stronger = have you improved on your push ups or chin ups rep score.
More mobile = have you improved your mobility/flexibility on the TPI tests that you failed in session 1.

I’m new to golf and don’t currently have a handicap, will this service still be of benefit for me?

Where abouts is the gym located?
I coach out of a brand new private personal training studio which is a 4 minute walk from Liverpool Street station.
